We are not saddened by our loss, we are grateful for the time we had.
On July 21, 2019, Bill Parker passed away surrounded by family. There are many things we could say about Bill... his love for hockey, especially the Canucks, hunting, Fords and selling trucks, racing stock cars and snowmobiles, but the biggest part of Bill was his love, pride and devotion to family. When he moved to the Bulkley Lodge in April, no introductions were needed, the whole staff knew him from the daily visits to his mother for 9 years. His kids, Eric (Joni) and Shauna (Dan) were his true pride and joy, topped only by that of his five grandchildren Devin, Dylan, Brayden, Kaitlyn and Jordan.
We will never forget your sense of humour and mischief, the way you could turn any sentence into a snappy song, but most of all we will never forget how much you loved your family.
The stories about Bill are endless. Please retell them every chance you get.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Frank and Helene Parker and sister Jean Inglis.
There are no words to express our appreciation to Dr Scholtz and the staff at the Bulkley Lodge and hospital that cared for Dad.
The goose population will be ever so relieved to hear of Bill's passing.
An informal celebration of Bill's life will take place on Sunday, July 28th at 2:00 pm at the Peterson's residence on 6132 Willow Road in Smithers.
