Beverly Myrtle (Craig) Huntington

Beverly Myrtle Huntington passed from this life into heaven on April 1, 2021. She died peacefully with her husband and eldest daughter at her side, in the Bulkley Valley and District Hospital.

Bev was born June 2, 1930, in Trochu, Alta., to parents Merton and Alice Craig.  She married Ted Huntington on Sept. 1, 1951, in Lousanna, Alta.  In 1952, the couple moved to Smithers where all 5 of their children were born.  Beverly is survived by her husband James Edward (Ted), her daughters Shelley Becker (Ron), and Debbie Webb (Keith), her sons, Del (Debi), and Brent (Yvette), and her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her daughter Gaydene Olsen (Bill).

Bev helped many through her hospitality, and she was diligent in prayer. She loved God, her husband, her family, birds, flowers, her mountains, and singing.  We know she is better off now, but she will be dearly missed.  A small Graveside Service was attended by family, and a Memorial Service will be announced when gatherings are allowed.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ERDO or Bridges for Peace.
