Brian Grubb Obituary
Brian Keith Grubb, 56, passed away peacefully in the evening of April 30th, 2020 at Bulkley Valley District Hospital with his loving family at his side after a short battle with cancer. Brian was a man of few words but was a kind, thoughtful and compassionate soul.
Brian was born on May 28th, 1963 in Surrey to parents Gary and Eileen. Brian and his partner, Ellen (nee Gillis) and son, Gavin moved to Telkwa, BC in 1996 and lived in a beautiful log house along the river. Brian loved spending time with his son and was an incredible role model to Gavin.
Brian met his current wife, Sandy in 2007. They had many wonderful adventures together – canoeing, sailing, camping trips (with Molly the Motorhome) and travelling to Mexico and Cuba. No one can deny that they loved each other dearly, enjoyed each other’s company and complimented each other so well.
Brian was a dedicated husband, father, father-in-law and friend. Brian kept his circle small and will always be remembered for his quick, dry humor but also was a man of integrity, kindness and loyalty.
Brian is survived by his wife, Sandy, and his daughter in law, Helena, brother Darrell, and father, Gary (Sheryl) Grubb. He is predeceased by his son, Gavin and mother, Eileen.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scholtz, and the staff at BVDH for their kind and compassionate care.
