March 7, 1954 – February 25, 2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of Donna Herrington announce her sudden passing on February 25th, 2023. Donna was born March 7, 1954 to parents William and Therese Shack of Smithers BC and made her home in the Bulkley Valley after marrying Lyle Herrington in 1973. Donna helped Lyle with his heavy-duty mechanic company throughout the years while enjoying participating in numerous crafting activities including her beautifully beaded crocheting and Afghan making.
Donna is predeceased by her parents William and Therese, her husband Lyle. She is survived with love by her children Calvin (April), Leeann (Jeff) and Dan (Alice), and her three grandchildren who she adored, Joshua, Bryce and Nevaeh as well as her siblings and numerous nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s name can be made to BV Hospital Palliative Care unit if so inclined in thanks for the wonderful care provided.
There will be a Memorial Tea to be held June 10th,2023 from 1-3pm at the Telkwa Seniors Center at the Telkwa Barbeque Grounds.
