Eleanor Helen Blanche Carlson

Eleanor Helen Blanche Carlson (Groulx) gained her angel wings on September 18th, 2023 surrounded by her family in Granisle, BC. Eleanor was 80 years old.

Eleanor's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Eleanor loved her family, and was extremely fond and loving of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eleanor loved to volunteer in her community, had a love for line dancing, and hummingbirds

Not a day went by where Eleanor didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her. Her greatest achievement in her life was becoming independent and thriving, all while loving and living life to the fullest

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Faye, her children Chad (Laura), Amanda (John), Kaitlynn (Travis) and Lindsay. Her great grandchildren; Desiree, Damien, Ethan, Cummins, Delilah, Caisey, Callie, Oaklynn and Carson. Her loving siblings; Patricia Mizuguchi, Marlene (Ronald) Heinz, Diane Stryd (Eric),  Bonnie Burkett and Bruce Groulx, as well as the many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Henry & Anne Groulx, brother David, son Duane and grandson Dustin.  

Services are still being organized, but will be held at Granisle Senior Center on October 21 2023 at 1:00 pm.
