Hubert Prevost Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Hubert Prevost, our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on June 8th, 2018. Hubert passed away peacefully with his favourite cap on and surrounded by his loved ones, after a brief battle with cancer. Hubert was born on April 8th, 1930 in Lafleche, SK. He is pre-deceased by his mother Corinne and father Donat, brothers Roland, Oliver, Fernand and Omer.
Hubert leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Jeanette Prevost, daughters Vickey Prevost (Laredo), Cindy Forsyth (Karl), Audrey Prevost (Calvin Lee) and son Rodney Prevost (Chanda). Granddaughters Chantal Forsyth (Caleb Jones), Brittany Forsyth. Grandsons Brendan and Calen Lee, Brady and Parker Prevost. Great grandson Hunter Forsyth. Sisters Denise Carbert, Simone Vermette, Florence Beaunoyer, brothers Edward and Raymond Prevost; unofficially adopted sons Benjamin Easterday, Marvin Goertzen plus many nieces and nephews.
Hubert will be remembered for his love and passion for hockey, hunting, mushroom picking, music, sense of humour and his family!
A Celebration of Hubert's life will be held at 27901 Hwy 16, South Hazelton on Thursday, June 14th between 2 and 4 pm.
