James Gordon

Jim was born in Saskatoon Sask. to parents Fred and Edith Gordon. He grew up on a farm in Aberdeen Sask. After leaving Aberdeen he started work for CNR in Alberta as a fireman, where he met Sherill the love of his life. The couple moved to Prince Rupert where they were married and had their two sons. In 1964 the family moved to Smithers where they built their home together. Jim continued to work for CNR and VIA as an engineer. Jim loved the outdoors and had many great adventures hunting, fishing and spending time at his cabin on Babine Lake.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Sherill Gordon, sons Kelly(Kelli), Rusty(Linda) granddaughter Katherine, sisters Margaret and Eleanor and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
