Loretta Lea (Hepburn) Tompkins

Loretta Lea Tompkins, 82 years old, passed away on February 12, 2022, peacefully with her family surrounding her.

Lea is survived by her children; Rex (Chrissy) Chequer, Darcy Fiset, Sean Whitney (Genie), Kim Whitney, Michelle (Derek) Watson; her grandchildren Ellie (Rod) Tucker, Craig Fiset, Brendon Wall (Sylvie), Kassidy Wall (Owen), Dennis (Alex), Amber; great grandchildren Camille, Jackson and Mitchell; and her sister Bonnie (Paul) Dean.

Lea was a long-time resident of Houston BC.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, picking raspberries, spending time with her children & grandchildren, watching the Canucks, and most of all mowing the lawn on her ride-on tractor.

Lea is predeceased by her parents, Alexander & Winnifred Hepburn, step-mother Ivy Hepburn, her loving husband, Floyd Tompkins, and her son-in-law Dale Fiset.

Don’t remember me with sadness,

Remember all the laughter,

We’ve shared thorough out the years.

Now I am contented.

That my Life it was worthwhile.

Knowing that I passed along the way,

I made somebody smile.

So please don’t be unhappy,

Just because I’m out of sight.
