Maria Rodrigues Obituary
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Friend born on the Island of Santa Maria, Azores.
She married Aires Rodrigues in 1955 and they lived together in Vila Do Porto before relocating to Canada in 1968 where she settled in Toronto and then relocated to Houston BC in 1979
Her family was her heart and soul, teaching selflessly all that she knew regardless of who you were. She loved to cook, bake and had a variety of talents that she passed on to her children. She loved to entertain, plan events, spend weekends with family and friends joking and pulling shenanigans with her contagious laugh and smile. She loved listening to music and singing when no one was watching but always got caught.
Maria Jose is survived by her husband Aires Rodrigues, daughters Manuela, Anabela, Marcia, son Helder, grandson Michael, granddaughter Vanessa, great-granddaughters Ciera, Eliana, Zaira, and great-grandsons Jose (Junior) and Memphis.
She will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
