Marie Lee Obituary
Marie was born and raised in Prince Rupert. Apart from several years spent in Kitwanga in the mid-1950’s, she lived in Rupert until 1967. Then she and her family left the coast for Smithers, where she lived until her death on February 17, 2018.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Forbes, in 2008. She is survived by her son Peter Lee, her daughter Diane Stuart (Gordon), and her sister Bernice Rothwell.
Marie was not fond of “fuss” and did not want anything done to commemorate her life or her passing. She was very fond of animals, particularly dogs-therefore we’re sure she would smile to know that you were giving a friendly dog a pat and an extra treat in her memory.
