Mavis Ruth Lusk

We sadly announce the passing of Mavis Lusk on December 31st, 2024.
Mavis was born November 26th, 1935 in Burns lake, she was one of 9 children born to Marion and James Spankie.
Mavis grew up near Burns lake on a homestead, and also lived in Cherryville and Vernon.
Mavis met and married her husband Winston Lusk in Vernon, BC on June 25th, 1966. They lived in Prince George for a short while
before moving to Telkwa, then to Smithers.
Mavis was devoted to her husband and two daughters Debbie and Wendy.
Mavis loved bowling, and working in her garden and in the home.
After 25 years of marriage Winston and Mavis divorced.
Mavis is survived by her daughters Debbie Gilker (Bill) and Wendy Lusk (Shane), 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
