Melodie Giddings-Jones Obituary
Melodie Ann Giddings-Jones passed away April 20, 2018 in Smithers at the age of 61 years.
Melodie was born and raised in Smithers, BC and spent her entire career working for the Royal Bank. She started the day after graduation and worked in many locations and in various positions up to and including bank manager prior to her retirement in 2011. She was happiest when she was camping alongside a river. She loved to travel and was able to visit many parts of the world, always with a short stop in Las Vegas enroute to more exotic locales.
Melodie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Tom Jones; her sister-in-law Barbara (Ralph) MacIsaac; sister Kelda (Doug) Hawkins; nieces Laura (Brian) Ogilvie, Denise (Rick) and Deanna Hawkins; nephew David Hawkins; great nieces Jessica (Lucas) Hayhurst, Shaylene Hawkins, Bailey Hawkins, and her great nephew Austin Arnett.
She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Marie Giddings and her parents-in-law Tom and Edith Jones.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in the Telkwa Cemetery on Saturday April 28th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Pioneer Place Activity Center.
