Muriel Rivard Obituary
Muriel was born and raised in St. Leonard, New Brunswick. She moved to Montreal, Quebec and started a career at the Alcan Division in Montreal. She retired as an executive secretary in 1985 and bought herself a Mercury, Zephyr. She drove herself across Canada to Smithers, BC, where her son lived.
Muriel loved Smithers and found her peace here in the Bulkley Valley.
Muriel is survived by 8 siblings; brothers Ronald, Conrad, Gilles and Gerald; sisters Lucille, Rachelle, Margerite and Carol; sons Jean Francois (Sylvie) Ouellet and Gene (Marcia) Rivard; grandchildren Chelsea and Alysha; great grandchildren Jade, Presley and Wyatt.
