Norman Collerman
June 5, 1965 – May 15, 2026
Norman was born in Alberta and spent most of his life in British Columbia. He was known for remembering people not by their names, but by their birthdays.
Norman will be remembered for his incredible dance moves, wonderful sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the warm, enormous hugs.
He was very proud of his accomplishments in Special Olympics, participating in baseball, shot put, bowling, and track and field. While Norman loved fun and activities, he was also a dedicated worker, spending 10 years as an employee at Dairy Queen in Williams Lake and later working at Pharmasave in Smithers.
Norman loved life and cherished his family and friends. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee, coloring, singing, and dancing to his favorite songs.
Norman is lovingly survived by his mother, Marlene; his brothers, Stan and Stefan (Crystal); his sisters, Edi and Carmen (Shayne); his nieces, Shawna, Chandler, Ryleigh, Devyn, and Aleigha; and his nephews, Cory, Nathan, and Connor.
Norman’s family is deeply thankful for the love, support, and kindness shown to him throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
