The family is very saddened at the sudden passing of our ‘Little Richie’
Richard passed away at his home in Houston. On Feb. 16 2020.
Richard Morris Michell was born @ home in Houston, on November 2nd 1962,
He is a miracle baby, as he was a premie, only weighing in at 3lbs.
Predeceased by his parent Mary Michell, grandparents Matt & Sarah Michell, uncles Ernie, Francis & Morris.
Richard was known by many nick names over the years, as a young boy he was known as ‘Atdam’ then Mr. Parker from Hoskins Ford in Smithers called him ‘Apple Johnny’ then it went to ‘Apple dude, Apple doodle, or noodle, or ‘strudel’. Sometimes all three together, he would start laughing every time. Throughout the Bulkley Valley & Lakes District he was known as Elvis.
Survived by his uncle Kenny Mitchell (Helen)
Niece Sarah, nephews Duane (Colleen) & Rodney (Kathy)
Oliver, who Richie took under his wings as his little brother.
Auntie/mom Rose Michell (Garry)
Niece Lynn Morgan (Les) & great niece Sydney.
Nephew Mathew Michell (Shannon) & great nephew Brayden.
Many great nieces & nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Richard’s life, aka Elvis, on Saturday Feb 29th. 1pm. In the Christian Reformed Church in Houston. Refreshments to follow.
There will also be a settlement feast held on Sunday, Mar. 1st at the Multiplex in Witset. At 12:00pm
