Ronald A Young
On Dec. 3, 2024, Ronald A. Young passed away peacefully in the company of loved ones. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and coach. Ron was a past president of the Rotary Club and a community volunteer in many respected organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Edi, Carmen (Shayne), Norman, Stefan (Crystal), and Stanley; grandchildren, Shawna, Cory, Connor, Nathan, Chandler, Ryleigh, Devyn, and Aleigha; and great-grandchildren, Amelia, Oaklynn, Scarlett, Cohen, and Adler.
Ron was a gentle man, loved by all, and made anyone in his presence feel welcome and special. Ron grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. After graduating, he was employed by the Royal Bank for 38 years, which gave him the opportunity to live in many communities across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
We remember his love of chess, fishing, golfing, curling, bowling, and long walks with his buddy, Biscuit.
The family will have a private celebration of life in the summer.
