Scott John William Eldridge, age 40, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Thornhill, British Columbia. Born on September 29, 1984, in McLennan, Alberta, Scott brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his adventurous life.

Scott was a man of many talents and trades, but his true passion was behind the wheel. He loved driving big trucks and found a special home at GFL in Thornhill. There, his coworkers and boss became like family to him—a bond he cherished deeply. His dedication to his work and the camaraderie he shared with his team were a source of pride and fulfillment.

Outside of work, Scott embraced life with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. He found freedom riding his Harley and joy navigating rugged terrain in his Jeep while mountain climbing. These passions reflected his love for the outdoors and his fearless approach to life.

Scott's presence was magnetic—he had the biggest heart and a laugh that could fill a room. His belly laughs were contagious, often lifting the spirits of everyone nearby. He had an innate ability to make others smile and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Those who knew him will remember not only his humor but also his unwavering kindness and generosity.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts: his daughter Cassidy; his girlfriend Sreya and her two daughters; his mother Barbara Mitchell and stepfather Tom Mitchell; and his sisters Tamalyn Eldridge and Melissa Eldridge. He is also remembered by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews who were touched by his warmth and love. Scott was predeceased by his father, Michael William Eldridge in 1999.

Though Scott's time was far too short, may his legacy of love, laughter, and adventure bring comfort to those who mourn him. A service will be held on September 13, 2025, with a Visitation from 11:00 AM - 11:30, and a Funeral Service starting at 11:30 at Mountain View Assembly, 2701 Viewmount Rd. S.. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Telkwa Community Hall, 1390 Birch St.

Scott lived fully—pursuing dreams with passion, sharing laughter freely, and loving deeply. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
