Sidney James Harrhy
better known as Jim, passed away, peacefully, on the afternoon of April 11th 2026, at the age of 88.
He was born on February 5th 1938 to parents Sidney and Katherine Harrhy in Cardiff, Wales, and passed away in Smithers, BC with his daughters by his side.
He is survived by his sisters; Silvia and Kath, his children; Steve, Dave, Katie, and Elsa, also his grandchildren; Ross, Sophie, Rhys, Michael, Scott, Grace, Aubree, and Connor. As well as their spouses and his great grandchildren.
Jim lived in many places and had many adventures, but found solace living by the river's edge in Telkwa BC for many years.
Per his wishes, there will not be a funeral held. In lieu of flowers, anyone hoping to honor Jim's life can do so through a donation to BC Children's Hospital foundation, of which he was a long term donor.
